Delete your LingoFuse account

Delete your account in the app

1. Sign in to LingoFuse with Google or Apple.
2. Open the Profile tab (bottom navigation on mobile).
3. Scroll to Delete account and read the confirmation message.
4. Tap Delete permanently and confirm when prompted.
5. You will be signed out. Your account and associated data on our servers are removed as described below.

Delete your account on the website

1. Sign in at lingofuse.io with Google.
2. Go to your Profile page from the navigation menu.
3. Use Delete account, then confirm Delete permanently.

What we delete

When you delete your account, we permanently delete your account and associated data stored on LingoFuse servers, including:

• Your account and sign-in identifiers
• Generated tasks and flashcard sets
• Decks, review progress, and streak data
• Subscription and entitlement records held by LingoFuse
• Preferences such as your decks language filter

What may be kept or handled elsewhere

• Google Play, Apple App Store, or Stripe may retain payment and transaction records according to their own policies. Deleting your LingoFuse account does not by itself cancel a Google Play or Apple subscription; you can still be charged until you cancel in your Google Play or Apple account settings. Cancel an active store subscription before deleting if you want to avoid future charges. (Web subscriptions billed through Stripe are canceled when account deletion succeeds.)
• We may retain limited information where required by law (for example tax, fraud prevention, or legal compliance) for the period required by applicable law, then delete or anonymize it.
• Backups containing your data, if any, are purged on our normal backup rotation schedule.

If you cannot delete in the app

If you are unable to sign in or delete your account in the app or on the website, email contact@lingofuse.io from the email address linked to your account (or explain how we can verify your identity). We will process verified deletion requests within a reasonable time.
